Community Events

The 2016-17 Indoor Farmer’s Market features 20 local vendors, including produce.  The market is held every other Saturday starting November 5, 2016 through February, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Eagan Community Center.

Fathers, grandfathers, uncles and men with a little lady in your life (ages preschool – 12 years old) celebrate the Valentine season with a special evening.

Enjoy this Friday and Saturday event, featuring over 80 vendors representing home and leisure products.  Come talk and visit with experts in the industry for all your home and leisure needs.
Wedding Expo - March 26, 2017 - 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Find your style for the aisle with a variety of vendors including photographers, DJ’s, decorators, florists and more! The caterers affiliated with the ECC will also be on hand serving samples so stop on by, enjoy some hors d’oeuvres and start planning you “to-do’s” to make it a special day when you say, “I DO!” Admission is only $5.  For questions, please call (651) 675-5550.

Holz Farm Spring Festival
- May 21, 2017 - 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Celebrate spring at Holz Farm and return to this 1940’s restored park featuring activities for all ages.
LakeFest & Trash Clean up of Schwanz Lake - June, 2018 (even years)
Celebrate Lakes Appreciation Month!  Enjoy fishing (equipment provided), make fish art, visit with natural resource experts and more. Fishing license not required for this event. This event is held only on even years. Bring gloves and help look for trash to pick up in and around Schwanz Lake (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.). Clean up supplies provided. Stay and enjoy the festival afterward.
Eagan Market Fest - Wednesdays, June 7 - September 27, 2017
Visit Market Fest for fresh produce, hand-crafted artisan items and a summer filled with weekly themed activities, concerts and entertainment are featured as part of  this community favorite event held on Wednesdays at Central Park’s Festival Grounds and Eagan Rotary Band Shell at the Eagan Community Center throughout the summer and fall. 
Eagan Art Festival - June, 2017
Coordinated by the Dakota Center for the Arts this weekend long event showcases the area's finest artists.  Art activity tents provided by the Eagan Art House.  Free admission with ample parking.
Eagan Fun Fest - July, 2017
Food Truck Festival - August 18, 2017 - Enjoy Twin Cities tastiest food truck fare, local craft beers and entertainment.
Harvest of Art - September 11, 2017
The Eagan Art House hosts an afternoon of art including the opening of our annual art exhibit, raku pottery firing, artist demonstrations and pottery sale.  
Lone Oak Days - September 23 & 24, 2017
Go back in time to the early 1940’s as you visit this family friendly event held at the historic Holz Farm.  Enjoy hayrides, pie eating contests, games and activities for all ages to enjoy.
Senior Expo - October, 2017
An opportunity to learn about products and local resources/services targeted towards the aging population.
Halloween Hodgepodge - October 29, 2017
Family friendly Halloween celebration for children preschool and up held at the Eagan Community Center.

Artwork for sale by Eagan Art House instructors and students. A popular annual event.
Holz Farm Old Fashioned Holiday - December 3, 2017, 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Enjoy a nostalgic 1940's holiday celebration with a visit by Santa, live reindeer, bonfire smores, holiday crafts, cookies and hot cider and carol performances by the Eagan Women of Note and Eagan Men's Chorus at historic Holz Farm Park.

Dakota County Parks and Recreation - Dakota County Parks and Recreation offers special events throughout the year at Lebanon Hills Regional Park. Lebanon Hills Regional Park is the largest park in the Dakota County park system. Containing almost 2,000 acres, the park offers miles of trails and many lakes for year-round outdoor sports, recreation and environmental education. The Lebanon Hills Visitor Center, located in the eastern section of the park, offers park information, interactive nature displays, courses and programs, equipment rental and access to all the beauty the park has to offer.
