Stop Stormwater Pollution

The City of Eagan operates and manages its storm sewer system through a federal/state permit. These "Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System" (MS4) permits are part of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program, as authorized by the Clean Water Act. The MN Pollution Control Agency administers the NPDES permit program in Minnesota. Eagan's Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) (2013-2018 SWPPP Document) includes the following required six components:
