Councilmember Cyndee Fields
Cyndee Fields began her first term on the Eagan City Council in January, 2001. A resident of Eagan since 1993, Cyndee and her husband Leonard have two sons.
Councilmember Fields has also volunteered her time and has received awards for her work with the Minnesota Twins Salute to Education program. In 2003, she was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Metropolitan Council Nominating Committee.
Previously, Cyndee was chair of the District 196 Curriculum and Instructional Committee and has served on the board of directors of the Eagan Athletic Association as director of the In-House baseball program.She also has served on the site council for the Dakota Hills Middle School and Red Pine Elementary. She helped to set up the Red Pine Elementary Parent Teacher Organization when the school opened.
Cyndee is currently the Leadership Legislative Assistant for the Minnesota House of Representatives.
Councilmember Fields serves on the City Council's Public Works Committee, and is the liaision to the City's Airport Relations Commission as well as the City's appointed member to the Metropolitan Airport Commission's Noise Oversight Committee. Cyndee has previously served as Acting Mayor in 2002, 2004, and 2005.
