Up a Tree In Eagan

There are going to be a whole lot of folks up a tree in Eagan—and down again—on Saturday, May 17th. Not only is it the State Tree Climbing Championships, but Eagan has been designated by the DNR as the host site for the state's Arbor Month celebration. Along with the Minnesota Festival of Tree events held here that day, also at Central Park, there is a lot of family fun to be had at Eagan's 22nd annual arbor day celebration.

Two 35E Northbound Exit Ramps Will Close
The exit ramp from northbound I-35E to eastbound and westbound I-494 AND the ramp from Lone Oak Road to northbound I-35E are both scheduled to close at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, May 12 so crews can resurface pavement, install new signs and replace lights on the ramp.

Live Safely in Eagan with Coyotes
Over the past few years, the City of Eagan has witnessed coyote activity throughout the city. More specifically, citizens are reporting sightings and there have been documented instances where coyotes have attacked domestic pets. With the close proximity to large undeveloped tracts of land like Fort Snelling State Park, Lebannon Hills County Regional Park, along with the many City parks in Eagan, coyotes will always be present in Eagan. In fact, coyotes have become well adapted to suburban living.
