Eagan Market Fest

Eagan Market Fest Open Wednesdays in September

Farmer's market vendors will continue to be open on Wednesdays in September at the Eagan Festival Grounds 4:00 p.m. - dusk.  As it gets darker earlier the market will adjust its closing hours accordingly.  Band shell concerts and kid's art area at Market Fest end at the end of August.

Eagan Market Fest is a 17-week summer community event held Wednesdays, June 4 - September 24, 2014 featuring a 55+ vendor farmer's market, concerts in the park, free kid's art projects and popular theme nights such as the Classic Car & Oldies Night, Family Night and other themes. Over 40,000 attendees take part in the event each year.

*September will close at Dusk.
The event features a farmer's market with over 55 vendors, weekly concerts at the band shell, free Kid's Art Area, playground, walking trails, special theme nights and more, Eagan Market Fest has something for everyone to enjoy.  Bring a picnic or purchase food onsite and invite others to join you for a relaxing evening where you can connect together!

June 4
Percolators:  This 3-man band plays rock, country, blues, R&B and ballads.  They also play an occasional waltz or polka, and sing harmonies.  

June 11
Everett Smithson Band:  This band creates a party atmosphere. New Orleans / French Quarter Music is what you will see and hear. Zydeco, Blues, Rockin Roots, Hillbilly Hoedowns, gospel and more.  Kids can sign up for free harmonica and lesson at the band’s intermission at the Market Fest front gate.  Limited to the first 20 to sign up.

June 18
The Bazillions (4:00 – 6:00 p.m.):
  The Bazillions are the creation of Twin Cities’ parents/educators/singer-songwriters Adam and Kristin Marshall who have written songs to help kids learn in a kid-friendly rock n’ roll style.

Choo Choo Bob Live Show (6:30 – 8 p.m.): Come aboard!  This show revolves around Choo Choo bob, an eager and hokey guy who loves trains.  Bob and his friends talk trains and have all kinds of adventures and sing.


Eagan Puppet Wagon
Sit and enjoy fanciful puppet characters as they interact with each other and the audience with stories, singing and lots of fun!  Several shows throughout the night in the market area.

June 25
BBB Jazz Orchestra:
  This group captures the elegance of the big band era of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, and Count Basie as well as a variety of top standards from the 30’s to the 80’s.  Styles of music include traditional jazz, blues, swing, Latin, and ballads.

July 2
Retro Soul 5:
  This band’s style of music is of blues rock inspired originals combined with family friendly good time oldies from the 60’s,  70’s and 80’s that includes R&B and Rock N’ Roll.

July 9
Randy Mcallister & Band:
  Randy is a Grammy nominated, veteran Texan singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.  He is one of those rare artists who is able to meld genres such as gospel, blues, country, Tex-Mex, rock and zydeco together and come away with something is unique.  Only other artist nominated in three categories with Eric Clapton for Australia’s Blue Star Awards. 

July 16
“A Elvis Experience” with Steve & Tommy Marcio (4:00 – 5:15 p.m.):
  A father and son tribute to Elvis Presley.  While dressing like and signing Elvis songs, their performance is a sure way to remember the King.

The Rockin’ Hollywoods (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.):  This all male band presents “Solid Gold Rock & Roll” from the 1950’s through the 1980’s with an energy and excitement that captivates audiences of all ages.   When the band is playing the dance floor is full of audience members swinging and dancing the night away.

Southern Cruzers Car Show (4:00 – 8:00 p.m.):  Take a nostalgic look back as cars from the early 1900’s through the 1970’s are on display.  Talk to car owners and be sure to vote for your favorite car.  Call (651) 675-5500 to register a car.

July 23
Pan Dimension (4:00 – 5:30 p.m.): 
A colorful steel drum band playing sounds from the Caribbean. 

Socaholix (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.): The Socaholix have burst onto the Minneapolis music scene. With musicians from Trinidad, Jamaica, The Congo, Tanzania, America and St. Croix, the line-up is truly international. Drawing from their vast musical backgrounds, the band delivers crowd pumping rhythms and energy sure to bring people to their feet for an all-night soca party.

July 30
Ticket to Brasil (4:00 – 5:30 p.m.): 
This group is a mixture of an intoxicating tapestry of elegant Bossa Nova, groovy Latin Jazz, and hot Afro-Brazilian Samba on stage and on the dance floor.

Tropical Zone Band (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.):  Award winning Puerto Rican salsa band featuring a powerful horn section and energetic singers.  They play some of the best salsa and merengue dance music in the area.

August 6
Tim Sparks (4:00 – 5:30 p.m.):
Is an award-winning guitarist whose blending of musical styles has won him extensive praise.  From the early traditional country blues and gospel music he learned in the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Jazz, Be Bop, classical and world music from his varied career across the U.S. and Europe, Tim has thrilled and inspired audiences and musicians world-wide.

Kevin Bowe & Okemah Prophets (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.):  Kevin Bowe has a long history as a singer/songwriter, guitarist, writer/producer, landing 3 platinums and songs on 2 Grammy winning albums.  Their shows are a reminder that American rock and roll will always be cool…just soul, songwriting and a crack 3 piece band to play them loud.

August 13
Sandy & The Hitmen (4:00 – 8:00 p.m.):
  A five piece Americana band playing classics, British invasion Beatles music, alt country and hippy songs and other great old school sing along songs.

August 20
Lehto & Wright (4:00 – 5:30 p.m.):
  A unique blend of traditional and modern styles. By taking cues from the Irish, English and American folk traditions and interpreting them with contemporary guitar-based arrangements, Lehto & Wright have taken a fresh approach to the world of folk and folk rock.

40 Shades of Green (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.):  Traditional Irish Band that will have you signing along.

Rince na Chroi Irish Dancers (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.):  Pronounced Rink-a na Cree), Gaelic for “dance of the heart,” this Irish Dance school has performed all over the Twin Cities and the Midwest.  They will be performing with 40 Shades of Green.

August 27
Jolly Huntsmen (4 – 5:30 p.m.): 
  a high quality German polka band will have you tearing up the dance floor keeping beat to the oompah music.
Eagan Theater Company “Back to School Blues” Variety Show (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.):  A good old-fashioned variety show with skits, dancing, music and signing by a very talented group of youth and adult local actors and actresses.





Event Parking
  • The lower parking lot is for handicap and senior citizen parking.
  • Overflow parking is available at the upper Community Center parking lot and across the street at Argosy University's parking lot. Please use the sidewalks to access the Festival Grounds.


Weather Policy


Weather Policy - Open Rain or Shine

  • For day of event weather updates, call the Recreation Hotline at (651) 675-5511, press number 1 for an event update.
  • Market Fest will be held outside rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the market and concerts may be delayed or cancelled at the discretion of the Eagan Market Fest Coordinator or the market temporarily shut down.

  • Eagan Rotary Band Shell - location of the Market Fest concerts
  • Bike racks
  • ATM inside Eagan Community Center
  • As a courtesy to other customers shopping at the market and to follow Minnesota Board of Health regulations, please keep all animals on the asphalt path or at least 5 feet away from food areas.

Payment Transactions

  • All vendors accept cash. Some vendors may accept checks or credit cards at their own risk.
  • ATM available inside the Eagan Community Center.
  • All transactions are between the customer and vendor.
