Indoor Winter Farmer's Market

Indoor Market - Every other Saturday starting November 7, 2015 - February 27, 2016 10:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m.

November 7 & 21, December 5, 19, January 2, 16, 30, February 13 & 27

Farmer’s Markets aren’t just for summers.  Bring your shopping bag and connect to local farmer’s market vendors at Eagan’s Indoor Winter Market.  All products are local sold by the vendor that makes the product.  This is a great opportunity to meet area residents and talk with local vendors to learn about their products and farms. 


Indoor Winter Market Vendors

  • Biscotti By Barb – variety of flavored biscotti
  • Brand Farms – apples, dried apple chips, honey, eggs.
  • Cheryl’s Kitchen – flavored nut butters
  • Clara’s Comfort Food – German sausage, mustard, sauerkraut, sausage patties.
  • Crazy Paper Lady – artisan created gift and holiday cards
  • Crow’s Soaps – hand-made soaps and natural body products
  • Eroc’s LLC – BBQ sauce, dry spice rubs and Lefse
  • Grateful Bread – breads, pizza dough, and bakery items including Gluten Free options
  • Groveland Confections - chocolates
  • Marian’s Kupboard – kettle korn, flavored popcorn, pineapple salsa, jams/jellies and sauces
  • Mean Green Hot Sauce – variety of hot sauces
  • Natasha’s Pierogi – pierogi, garlic sauce, soups, salads and dumplings
  • Olive Oil From The Farm – olive oil based body care products.
  • Ruhland Strudel Haus – sweet and savory frozen strudel
  • Sanderson Family Maple Syrup – maple syrup, candy, maple sugar
  • Schwartz Farms – root produce such as onions, potatoes, squash, cabbage, turnips, rutabaga, carrots, and beets
  • Shepherd’s Way Farms – cheese, wool bedding, specialty sausages
  • Simmer Down Tea – dried teas and tea products
  • Sister’s Mezze/Sky Food Catering – hummus and lavosh crisps
  • Snappy Dog Salsa – variety of hot, medium, hot and flavored salsas, margarita mix
  • Tollefson Family Pork – frozen pork products from a local farm

Indoor Winter Market Promotions

  • November 7 & 21 – Stock up on market favorites for the Thanksgiving and holiday season.  Thanksgiving recipes provided featuring local MN produce and products
  • December 5 – Santa is visiting the community center from 10 am – Noon.  The market is open 10 am – 1 p.m.  Enjoy a free visit, bring your own camera and enjoy a candy cane and holiday craft for kids.
  • December 5 & 19 – Free holiday gift basket provided for shoppers purchasing MN products from the farmer’s market for gift giving.  Let our staff help you customize a holiday gift basket.
  • January 2, 16 & 30 – Pick up free good-for-your-body recipes using local MN farmer’s market products to kick off a healthy year. 
  • February 13 & 27 – Celebrate the season of love and purchase chocolates and sweet treats for your sweetheart.
  • Weekly – try free samples from a variety of farmer’s market vendors.  Winter is a great time to get to know your local vendor and learn about their business and products.

Event Parking

  • The lower parking lot is signed for handicap and senior parking.
  • Overflow parking is available at the upper Community Center parking lot and across the street at Argosy University's parking lot. Please use the sidewalks to access the Festival Grounds.

For market day weather updates, call the Recreation Hotline at (651) 675-5511, press number 1 for an event update.  A message is only posted if there is a change to the market due to severe Winter weather in which the Eagan Community Center would be closed.  Otherwise, the market will be open.

Eagan Market Fest features over 55 farmer's market vendors. This is a Producer's Market, meaning the vendor selling an item grows and/or produces the item locally.

Eagan Festival Ground Amenities

  • Pavilion with indoor restrooms and picnic tables

  • Eagan Rotary Band Shell - location of the Market Fest concerts

  • ATM inside Eagan Community Center


  • As a courtesy to other customers shopping at the market and to follow Minnesota Board of Health regulations, please keep all animals on the asphalt path or at least 5 feet away from food areas.

Information Booth

A Market Fest information booth is located at the entrance to the Eagan Festival Grounds where you will find:

  • Staff & Volunteer assistance
  • Vendor List & Map
  • Lost & Found
  • Wagon to assist in carrying heavy purchases to your vehicle
  • First Aid
  • Outdoor lawn games (weather permitting)

Payment Transactions

  • All vendors accept cash. Some vendors may accept checks or credit cards at their own risk.
  • ATM available inside the Eagan Community Center.
  • All transactions are between the customer and vendor.


Market Fest is a wonderful location to spend your Wednesday afternoon and evening. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic to enjoy while watching the concerts in the park and enjoying the festivities. Several onsite food concession options are available to purchase beverages, snacks and dinner to enjoy at the event as well.

Picnic Areas

  • Picnic tables available at and near the Festival Grounds Pavilion
  • Picnic tables are scattered around the festival grounds, playground and band shell.
  • Guests are also encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and/or chairs for the concert viewing area.

Concession Food Vendors

Several onsite concession options are available at Market Fest for your snack, beverage and dinner options. Vendors are subject to change.

Simmer Down Tea

Offering flavored ice tea and bubble tea drinks using their line of blended dried teas.




Kowalski's Market & Catering

Offers hot dogs, hamburgers, chesse burgers, salmon burgers, veggie burgers, grilled shrimp and other items served with kettle chips and beverages.  Note:  Kowalski’s will be absent from the market on June 17th (Family Night).



Ruhland Strudel Haus

Offers single servings of their sweet and savory strudels, lemonade, floats and other treats.  Savory strudel options may include Spinach, Artichoke & Feta served with or without Hummus and other savory strudels rotating throughout the season.  Sweet strudel flavors rotate throughout the season.  Frozen strudel also available.


Tollefson’s Family Pork

Offering hot concessions of the farm’s favorite pork items including smoked pork chops, pork brats, pork hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches and other pork items along with chips and beverages.



Hometown Creamery

Locally made, award winning ice cream served in a dish, regular cone or made-on-site waffle cones.




Nuttin Like It

Cinnamon and other flavors of roasted nuts freshly roasted nuts.







Marian’s Kupboard

Kettle Korn popped onsite.



Guest food trucks will also be visiting. One local food truck will pop in for a visit to the Eagan Market Fest each week, featuring a wide variety of food truck fare. Food trucks must pre-register in advance with the Market Fest coordinator to attend.


Power of Produce

Power of Produce (POP) Club provides a fun opportunity for children to engage in the local food system through conversations directly with farmers (vendors), educational games and demonstrations, and exposure to new fruits and vegetables.
