Eagan Parks & Recreation is committed to excellence in every program or activity it plans, organizes and directs. The safety and welfare of children are prime considerations in all youth programs. Adult sports are organized around the principal or recreational leisure activity. Special events are planned with young families in mind and entertainment in good taste. The variety of activities offered is in response to the interests of the residents of Eagan.Recreation seeks to build a sense of Community from among a diverse population based on common interests, values and the basic human need to belong and to have fun.

City of Eagan Salary Statement
Pursuant to the requirements of MN Session Law 2005, Chapter 156, M.S. 471.701 a city with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and base salaries of its three highest-paid employees. This notice may be provided on the homepage of the primary Web site maintained by the political subdivision for a period of not less than 90 consecutive days. The City of Eagan’s highest paid employees effective May 1, 2013 include: City Administrator - $150,186; Chief of Police - $135,584; Director of Public Works - $128,862. Posted 5/21/2013
