Parks & Recreation Receives Art Grant

Eagan Parks and Recreation received $5,000 through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council for Art... Be A Part! featuring guest artists workshops, Artist Connect Activities, and the annual Harvest of Art exhibit and open house.  The activities will take place from April through December 2014.

Eagan Police Providing Increased Traffic Enforcement as Part of DDACTS Program

Working in conjunction with the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, the Eagan Police Department will receive grant funding to participate in a nationally recognized study known as Data-Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety or DDACTS.  DDACTS uses crime and traffic data to establish effective and efficient methods for deploying law enforcement and other resources.

Eagan Art Festival This Weekend

The Eagan Art Festival will be held at the Eagan Festival Grounds on Saturday, June 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are over 100 artists, entertainment, art activities for all ages, great food and community art projects. Free admission and plenty of parking.
