Public to Decide Future of Carriage Hills Land
Should the City of Eagan acquire 120 acres of land formerly known as the Carriage Hills Golf Course?  That’s  the question voters will be asked to decide in a referendum on the November 4, 2008 ballot. Find out more about this issue and the specific ballot question from the following Fact Sheet.

Denmark Avenue Open to Traffic
Denmark Avenue north of Yankee Doodle road has reopened to traffic as of September 9. Part of the construction project is a new roundabout intersection at Denmark Avenue and Northwood Parkway. The roundabout is open to traffic continuing on Northwood Parkway to the north and east. The Northwood Parkway bridge over 35E will be completed and open to traffic in about a month, completing the project.

"Click It or Ticket" Campaign
While Minnesota motorists are buckling up more than ever, unbelted motorists still account for nearly half of all traffic deaths. To prevent unbelted traffic deaths, Eagan officers will conduct enhanced patrols October 10th-19th during a statewide Safe & Sober “Click It or Ticket” seat belt enforcement sweep.

Invitation to receive Public Comment for Public Art
At their September 15, 2008 meeting the Advisory Parks Commission opened a 30 day comment period where the public is invited to view a community mosaic project that will be created by interested citizens and upon completion temporarily displayed within a City Park or facility. The 30 day comment period is required by the Public Art Policy and will end on October 16, 2008.
